Dust, noise, inconvenience…these are some of the images that floated through my mind when I was considering having my floors re-done. How was I going to move the heavy furniture? How was I going to be able to cope with an inch of dust everywhere? How was I going to be able to deal with the noise, inconvenience, and confusion? I knew that I had to have the floors re-done. Ten years of three kids, two dogs, etc., had left its toll on my pine floors. They still looked OK, but just OK. Andy (from Arch Craft) had done some work for a neighbor, and I asked him to stop by and look at what I had in mind. I was immediately impressed with his knowledge of the process and his commitment to do the job correctly. In addition, his quote was very reasonable. So, I said OK. First, he made it incredibly easy. I moved everything that I could, and then Andy and his staff helped me move the heavy items to my covered porch. Then, Andy broke the job down for me, so I was always aware of what was going on, the timetable, and the procedures. His crew could not have been more pleasant, punctual, and professional. As the work progressed, I was amazed by the very small amount of dust that was generated. Arch Craft’s state-of-the-art machines were incredible. And, as for the noise, it was minimal. When it came time to make decisions about the stain, Andy was incredibly patient and accommodating. He showed me several samples and was open to making changes at any point that was feasible. He really went out of his way to make sure that I was happy with my decisions. The job was completed on time, his staff did an excellent clean-up, and I remain tremendously pleased with Arch Craft. Andy, the owner of Arch Craft LLC came to our home to look at the job we wanted done within a few hours of our contacting him. He gave us an estimate and a time line we were pleased with so we hired him later that evening after discussing his proposal. Andy showed up on the morning we scheduled with another workman and they went right to work. Andy's employee worked without a break thru the morning, afternoon and until 7:30 in the evening at which time our bedroom had a beautifully installed hardwood floor! What a transformation!
